It is my proud privilege to introduce the large group of pioneering educational institutions popularly known as the ‘Nehru Group of Institutions’ owing its origin to the southernmost part of peninsular India. The ISO 9001 – 2008 certified galaxy of reputed institutions were founded way back in 1968 by the founder Chairman late P. K. Das and is patronized by the Nehru College of Educational & Charitable Trust. Affiliated to Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Anna University, Chennai, Anna University, Coimbatore and Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Calicut University, Calicut. The Institutes offer UG, PG & Research programmes in Arts & Science, Commerce, Management, Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Catering & Hotel Management, Costume Design & Fashion, Bio-technology, Micro-biology, Applied Electronics and Visual Communications and is a source of learning for more than 12, 000 students.

The group is proudly hosting 12 renowned educational institutions in the broad disciplines of Engineering, Management, Information Technology, Aeronautical Sciences, Arts & Science, Medical and Para medical and pharmacy college sciences spread over 300 acres of land in five campuses stretching its wings across both Tamil Nadu and Kerala, the most extreme southern states of the Indian subcontinent.

Nehru Group of Institutions performs the vital tasks of education namely dissemination of learning, searching incessantly for new knowledge, increasing the efforts to plumb the meaning of life and providing professional education to meet the occupational needs of the society. A 750 strong well disciplined and competent faculty facilitated with world class and next generation infrastructure facilities Viz., libraries with online accessing, computer laboratories with CAM / CAD, internet and Wi-Fi facilities, fully equipped laboratories, workshops and production units, classic class rooms, seminar halls and board rooms.
